Product Safety and Recalls
Last updated: 15 September 2026
NiTHO is committed to providing clear safety information and responding promptly to credible product-safety concerns. This page explains how to use product information, report a concern and check recall notices.
Use products safely
- Read the product manual, warnings, age guidance and platform compatibility information before use.
- Use only the specified power source, cable, battery, charger, accessory and operating environment.
- Keep small parts, plastic packaging, cables and batteries away from children where a choking, strangulation or ingestion risk exists.
- Do not open, crush, puncture, burn, short-circuit or expose batteries to excessive heat, liquid or physical damage.
- Stop using and disconnect a product that becomes unusually hot, swollen, damaged, emits smoke or odour, exposes wiring, or behaves in a way that may create risk.
- Do not continue using a recalled product or attempt an unauthorised repair.
Product identification
Keep the order confirmation, product label, SKU, model and serial or batch information where present. Product-specific manufacturer, importer, responsible-person, warning and traceability information is shown on the product, packaging, manual or online offer where required for the market.
Report a safety concern
Email info@nitho.com with the subject “Product Safety” and include the product name, SKU or model, serial or batch number if available, purchase source and date, country, description of the concern, and photographs or video where safe to obtain. Do not create additional risk in order to collect evidence.
Recalls and corrective actions
If a safety recall or corrective action is required, we will publish an appropriate notice and may contact identifiable purchasers directly. The notice will identify affected products and explain whether to stop use, update firmware, return, repair, replace or dispose of the product. Follow only the instructions in the official notice or provided by authorised customer service.
Regulatory cooperation
We cooperate with responsible economic operators, distributors, marketplaces and competent authorities as required. Product-safety reports may be retained and shared when necessary to investigate risk, trace affected units, meet reporting duties or carry out corrective action.
